What, pray tell, is a
Community Group? Well, it's a group of six to ten people meeting
together on a regular basis with the intention of building our vertical
relationship (with God) and our horizontal relationships (with friends,
spouses, etc). We call them Community Groups (CG's for short) because
that's their purpose: to develop not only the sense of community among
the attendees of the Bridge, but also to fortify our physical
community. We believe that one of the best ways for a church to achieve
spiritual growth (individually and collectively) is by stepping out of
our Sunday morning structure and into a situation where we experience
fellowship on a smaller scale—in a smaller community.
